This project was a screened porch addition to a Historic 1880’s house in New Bern, NC.  There was an existing enclosed small side porch which we enlarged.  This house has beautiful hand turned columns which Precision Molding replicated for us.  We used a series of screen doors and transoms to create the bays and used beadboard on the ceiling,tongue and groove pine flooring, and metal roofing.  We walked this project through the New Bern’s Historic Preservation Commission successfully.  GO Design + Build constructed the project.
