The Maysville Train Station was once a part of the East Carolina Rail Company and the Atlantic Coast Line Rail Company. It remained in service until the mid-1990's when the line between New Bern and Wilmington was abandoned. The station was left empty until used as storage for agricultural products. The structure was moved and GO Design was contacted to create plans transforming the once train station into a new police station for the town of Maysville. We worked with both the Chief of Police, City Manager, and NC State Preservation Office to create a space that maintains the buildings history while still complying with current building codes and security needs.
